Famous Last Words

Hey all! Page 24 is up.^^ Not much happening in this page, sort of a transition.

I finally saw Star Trek! I must commend everyone who knows me on not spoiling anything, especially regarding that one big thing that I loved so much.^^ (Unlike Indy 4, where I went in knowing every damn thing that was going to happen. I'd rather not have things spoiled for a good movie, though, so good job.) I am confused though. What sort of world do we live in where Spock is angry and Wolvie is mellow? What sort?!

Okay, later. Thanks for reading!

Heya! Our new podcast, "the time we saved dolphins with Scott Sava" is all done and ready to be heard! We asked many questions and he had great answers.^^ Having these terrific guests takes all the pressure off us, really. They tend to bring the content with them! Download it here:

Page 23 is up! Look who it is.^^ But why, WHY can't I finish a page before 3 in the morning?

So we finally did the podcast with Scott Sava last night. It went really well! He's a super cool guy, if you couldn't tell from his super cool stuff.^^ Lots of interesting things talked about. Joe's going to have a fun time editing that one. We recorded for like two hours! 0_o

More later. Like I said, it's 3 in the morning! I have to work tomorrow, in this state of brain explody!! DX

EDIT: There's a animated gif showing the stages the page went through for a vote incentive today.^^

It was amusing, during our podcast with Scott yesterday, we talked some about being happy people with happy webcomics. I told them they were making me feel bad for feeling bad. Pascalle tells me that's part of my product. My weekly update is usually along the lines of "Hey everybody, look how I make Wren miserable today!" But that's not true. I'm totally pulling my punches! He was originally going to have chronic migraines. But I figured, with the burned hands, the dehydration, the inhaled poison, and the hurt leg, that might be unnecessary...

Thanks for reading!

So, how about that House finale, eh? I wonder, does every season have to end with a total mindf***?

Anyway, here, have a doodle from FCN.

Hey all. Page 22 is up, hope you like it! Also, there's an animated gif for the vote incentive, if you'd like to see all the stages a page of WN goes through. :) Thanks for reading!

Okay, I've decided to try something new with the vote incentives. Now, for every step the comic page goes through I will have a new image showing off the progress which you can see by voting for WN. When the page is done, the image will be a rotating gif showing you all the stages it went through. ^^ I think it'll be kinda neat, we'll see how it works out this weekend. At the moment, click it to see a bit of inking for page 22.

Also, we are going to be recording a podcast on conventions, webcomic community, and whatever else we come up with this weekend. If there's any topic you'd like us to cover, or something completely different, please drop us a line. We needs the fodder!

Hello again. Page 21 is finally up! Be sure to leave comments. ^^ Also, I have new fanart! Joy! Check out this one by Redcrow, and one of Anna by Nabari Palmer.

So it is official now, White Noise has moved. I hope everybody will find their way here easily enough.^^ There are several ways to get here from DNS if not. You may wonder why I moved, and that has mostly to do with the thing you're seeing on the left there. I'm hoping that will work for me as well as it has worked from my colleagues. I'm going to have to update for that, though, and just to let you know, the new page is very close to done and will be here tonight. After that, WN is going to be a straight shot, every monday, no more compromises. It also has to do with wanting WN to have it's very own home where it can keep all its stuff. It was sick of couch surfing on DNS.

You may also be wondering how the move was made, and that was all Joe from No Need For Bushido, and his wonderful php/blogger mojo. I gave him the design, and he made it go. What do you think? Comment on the brand new blogger comment system!

Also, speaking of comments, the White Noise archive is hooked up to Disqus now, so you can leave comments on the pages too! Try it out, you all know how I crave the comments.^^

Alright, Free Comic Book Day at Bell, Book, and Comic is over, and seems to have been a smashing success all around. I gave away plenty of flyers and hopefully got some new readers. Any of you who are visiting now because of those flyers, the thing you saw on my laptop won't be ready for three more weeks. ^^ (Alas, that was the demo.) I also made some great new contacts, and at the end of the day the store owner Pete took everyone out to dinner where we ate enchiladas and talked about Stephen King and haunted houses. It was a blast and I'm thrilled to have been a part of it.^^ Now I sleep!

It's free comic book day! Today I'll be sitting at a table at Bell, Book, and Comic, handing out flyers, doing artwork, and showing off a preview for the new Secret Project! Oooooooh! I fully expect to be completely outclassed by the other, real comic book artists present, but hey, people like anime too.^^ More on this later!

Hey all. We'll be interviewing the great Scott Sava of Dreamland Chronicles this weekend on the Gutter Talk Podcast, and we need questions! Got any? Please send them to questions@guttertalkpodcast.com. Or list them here. Or anywhere! Just, questions! We needs them!
